Arms

Shapely and firm arms are one of the prominent physical attributes of the female form. Fluctuations of weight and genetic characteristics are the main cause of skin sagging and fat accumulation in the arms.

Brachioplasty is the procedure which treats changes in the skin and fat tissue of the arms. For women with a certain level of fat but who have toned skin, liposuction can effectively provide a harmony of arm and body contours. However, for patients who have some skin sagging, it is often necessary to remove the skin as well as perform a liposuction. In most of these cases, the procedure results in a scar in the axilla (armpit) and along the internal part of the arm. In some cases, where there is little significant sagging, the patients may benefit from a brachioplasty with reduced scarring, hidden in the axillary region.

This may be performed in conjunction with other surgical procedures, such as abdominoplasty, mammoplasty, liposculpture, etc.
